Today we’re talking about Declaration which is still under our topic for this week, Faith. We laid the foundation for faith in the previous post here so do check that so you can enjoy reading this.

Declaration or to declare simply means to speak out or to confess something. Since we’re limiting this to Christianity, declaration means confessing (without a doubt) what God has said already about you in His Word (the Bible).

How does declaration and faith align? Well we know what faith is: substance of things hoped for, evidence of things yet unseen, so if we declare what we have received by or with faith, the manifestation wouldn’t take too long.

God wants us to confess with out mouths that Jesus is Lord, He also wants us to confess with out mouths His will concerning us. The Bible says in 1 John 5:14 that we should come before God’s presence with courage and ask for whatever we want ACCORDING TO HIS WILL because we know He hears us. God’s will is what He says about us in the Bible, so if you declare it over your life, it is like reminding God that this is what He said about you.

In COZA, we love to declare God’s Word over our lives and it’s absolutely the best way to pray. As usual you know I’d give an example of myself.

Some weeks back I was super broke, lol, forget that I work and I have a business on the side, I was broke, you know when you have to calculate your transportation with accuracy because you can’t afford to spend an extra 50n on the road, ehnhen, that kind of broke-ness lol.

I was listening to Dr. Mike Murdock on Faith Africa on Dstv and he talked about Psalm 112 and the $112 seed, I listened with intent, even though I didn’t have the $112 seed, I had desire and was willing oh and I had faith. Later I read my Bible to see what Psalm 112 was all about and when I read it, till now I haven’t recovered.

Psalm 112:1-3 Praise ye the Lord, Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments, his seed shall be mighty upon the earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed, wealth and riches shall be in his house and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Just by obeying God and delighting in His commandments, I shall be wealthy, rich and prosperous? It even overflows to my seed and descendants, they shall be powerful and blessed? Whaaattttttt?

Ever since then, I declare Psalm 112 over my life and wait for the unbelievable testimony, the next week, from Sunday till Saturday! I received money almost everyday, my bank account is smiling right now!

The Holy Spirit brought a thought to me saying, “all that people are asking for: wealth, riches and prosperity, He has a simple commandment in His Word in Psalm 112:1-3: just obey, fear, honor and delight in the commandments of the Lord and you’d have so much wealth, riches and prosperity that it will overflow to your seed and descendants“, I mean this is trrruuueee! It works!

Let’s learn how to declare God’s Word over our lives, have faith that it has already come to pass, you’re just waiting for the manifestation in the physical and see if God will not honor His Word.

Today I want us all to purpose in our hearts to read our Bible and underline or highlight the blessings of the Lord and also practice His Word so we can be drenched in the blessings of the Lord.

Let’s declare this today:

I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

I received help from near and far.

Favour is upon me, my household and all I do,

The Spirit of the Most High God directs me in everything I do.

I shall be like a seed planted by the rivers of water, I shall never lack.

My delight shall be in the law of the Lord which I meditate on day and night.

My path shall be like a shinning light that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

I receive grace from God to delight in His Word today.

Because I fear the Lord and delight in His Word, wealth and riches shall be in my house.

My seed shall be mighty upon the earth.

My descendants are blessed.

It is well with me.

I will do well.

Amen and amen! 

Be live in your heart that it is done, sealed, delivered, mixed with faith and manifested.
