Product Review – Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Conditioner.

Hey dolls! Doing good?

Chhheeerrrrsssss! πŸ™‹πŸΎπŸ’πŸΎπŸ™†πŸΎπŸ™…πŸΎ This is my 100th post on WordPress!

I’m here with a product review, long overdue because I’ve had this product since this haul and I’ve used it almost every wash day.

I’d be reviewing Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Conditioner which is a staple product for AB of thekinkandI (yes I love trying other people’s staple products lol). You can read her review here.

Let the review begin!

Product: Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Conditioner with Coconut Essences.

Product Information:
Intriguing ingredients. Incredible fragrances. Irresistibly touchable hair. Herbal Essences. Potent pleasure for all your senses.

The coconut might be one of the hardest working fruits out there, known for its moisturizing properties and dreamy tropical scent.

Product promise: 100% softer hair in 1 wash.

Reveal in our creamy coconut fragrance as you fantasize about your not exotic get-away while indulging in thirst-quenching hydration from root to tip that will leave your hair soft and sweetly-scented.

Directions: Work in from root to tip then rinse.

Size: 10.1 fl oz.

Ingredients: Water/Eau, Stearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Cetyl Alcohol, Bis Aminopropyl Dimethicone, Zea Mays (Corn) Silk Extract, Orchis Mascula Flower Extract, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Fragrance, Benzyl Alcohol, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Blue 1

I don’t know what Sodium Hydroxide is looking for in conditioner, it sounds weird.

The coconut extract is the eight ingredient so it’s not highly infused with coconut.

Smell: They were not joking with this fragrance, it smells so heavenly! So tropical, makes you want to lick the conditioner lol.

Consistency: Light but not runny, normal consistency.

Price: N1700n.

Where to buy: I bought mine from Sizzelle.

How I use:Β

As a rinse out conditioner – I apply this generously all over my hair, sometimes with heat, other times without heat, rinse out after about 30 minutes. It leaves my hair feeling soft and slightly defines my coils.

As a deep conditioner – I apply this generously all over my hair in twists, wear a plastic bag for heat and leave for a little over an hour. My hair still feels soft and slightly defined, less tangling.

The Good:

  • I love the smell, I love my hair smelling tropical so it’s a win for me as regards the smell.
  • I love the consistency, it’s just normal and perfect for a conditioner, I don’t like runny conditioners.

  • It’s good for detangling although I get heavy handed sometimes.

  • It’s very affordable, I mean all this goodness for just 1700n? It’s a steal!

The Bad:

  • I’m not so psyched by the packaging because it’s upside down lol but I guess that someone’s creativity so it’s fine.
  • 100% softer hair? Really fam? Lol maybe 70% sha.

    Will I buy again?

  • Over and again, yass! I’m open to more products from Herbal Essences since this one was a win for me.
Have you used this product or any other from Herbal Essences? Β Did you love it?

P.S I’M BACK IN LAGOS GUYYYYSSS! YAAAY!

        1. I use mine as a leave-in rather than wash out. The problem with HH is that if I want to co-wash and I have gel in my hair, I get those white balls, so frustrating!

          1. Lol I hardly use gel on my hair so maybe that’s why I like it more.
I’ve never used TJ (since we’re giving abbreviations lol) as a leave in. I feel my hair will itch more, does yours?

            1. I don’t let it get near my scalp, and I dilute it with water and a smidgen of olive oil. It doesn’t itch at all.

    1. I’ve had this for a while and I’ve never really gotten around to using it. I buy so many hair products and I get overwhelmed and end up using only a few with any sort of regularity.
I’m definitely getting this out of storage and adding it to my rotation of frequently used products. I really like the way it smells.
