Hey people, ki lon pop? What’s happening? Doing good? I’m fab!
Today’s post is on my new hair and what I wore to church on Sunday, hence the title!
Hair
I used Expression Attachment in colour 1 and a nameless blue attachment.
I used two small Expression Attachments and two small blue attachments.
It was cut into two all around, it’s pretty long.
I don’t like the blue attachment because it keeps shedding unnecessarily, I don’t understand.
When I get bored with the hair, I’d trim it to bob braids, genius right lol.
Dress
Mom bought this ankara from Oshodi market (P.S they have lovely ankara at Oshodi).
I sewed this dress sometime last year but you know, mistakes here and there but we’re still pushing, I also sewed palazzo pants with the fabric 😉
It’s an off-shoulder-breast-cut A-line dress with a side slit. My slit was so rough because I didn’t know I had to divide the fabric into two to make the slit but I’ve learned my mistakes though.
I’m currently back in tailoring school (yay!) and I’m sewing something similar to this dress but with a front slit, when I’m done I’d definitely post.
Can you tell that I love off shoulder dresses already? Peep this post.
My makeup was popping oh but I couldn’t get a good selfie so I let it slide. 😦

Hi Bookie,
Hahahahaha! You are right, I say that a lot 😀
From a distance the fabric doesn’t look like ankara, it looks like lace. The style is so lovely, fits you beautifully, you did great! Mistakes are sometimes good, you’ll learn from them.
Yes o, recycling the braids is sheer genius, the bobbed braids seem to be the current rave. I like the hairstyle.
Yay! I really look forward to seeing posts about your sewing projects. Well done dear.
