Happy New Month! May this month bear good tidings, amen.

So if you follow me on Instagram (click here) you’d have a little insight on what my weekend was all about.

Over the weekend I had a date with Desola of DeeMako and Jennifer of NigerianandNatural, two beautiful and inspiring bloggers, you definitely should follow them.

We went to the recently revamped Apapa Amusement Park in Lagos hoping to have a swell time but unfortunately couldn’t get any fun but pictures tell a thousand words right?

After the Apapa Amusement Park disappointment, we settled for ice cream from a cake shop at Surulere, I think it’s called Cake Slice, I’m not sure, but I loved it.

When bloggers meet you can tell the vibe and conversations will surround the blog-o-sphere, we talked about new goals in blogging and a host of other things, you know, girl’s talk. 😉

It was really fun and educative, learnt a thing or two from Jen & Dee and they’re such wonderful and down to earth ladies, you will love them.

I really look forward to hanging out with more bloggers this year, finally putting a face to the personality behind the blog, really enlightening.

I’m currently rocking Ghana Weaving/Braids till my next DIY protective style.
